The Committee to Review the Dietary Reference Intakes for Sodium and Potassium will hold a public workshop on March 7, 2018 from 8 AM to 5:15 PM ET at the Keck Center in Washington, DC (500 Fifth Street NW, Washington, DC 20001). Attendees may register to attend in-person or listen to the workshop online. Space for in-person attendance is limited and attendees may be asked to view the workshop from an overflow room, should we reach capacity. For in-person attendees there will be an opportunity to address the committee; each individual will have 3 minutes to make his or her remarks. Global Harmonization of Methodological Approaches to Nutrient Intake Recommendations: A Workshop

The Food and Nutrition Board, in partnership with the Department of Nutrition for Health and Development of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Nutrition Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), will convene an ad hoc committee to plan and organize a workshop to explore questions about the uses of nutrient intake recommendations, the frameworks used for their development, the status of nutrient intake recommendations globally, and experiences and expertise in methodological approaches.
