Dear Interested Parties: The Institute of Medicine will be releasing Long-Term Health Consequences of Exposure to Burn Pits in Iraq and Afghanistan to the public on Monday, October 31st, 2011 at 11:00 AM. An electronic version of the report will be available at that time. In addition, a briefing to discuss the findings of the report with veterans and other interested parties will be held the day of the release at 2:00 p.m. in room 204 at the Keck Center of the National Academies. The Keck Center is located at 500 5th St., NW Washington, DC 20001. The Keck Center is located on the Metro Red Line at Judiciary Square. Space is limited; please let us know in advance if you plan to attend the briefing. If you would prefer to participate by phone, we can provide you with a call-in number.
