The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine recently released The Health Effects Cannabis and Cannabinoids: The Current State of Evidence and Recommendations for Research, a new report written by an expert, ad hoc committee of the National Academies which presents nearly 100 conclusions related to the health effects of cannabis and cannabinoid use.

On February 21, 2017, members of the authoring committee will host an open Stakeholder Engagement Meeting in Washington, D.C. This webcast event will provide an opportunity for committee members, researchers, stakeholders, and public health professionals to discuss key messages from the report, as well as proposed recommendations and opportunities to advance the cannabis research agenda.
