Workshop on Mapping the Food System and its Effects
The Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the National Research Council (NRC) held a public workshop on Mapping the Food System and its Effects. The workshop included various speakers who presented information on the following topics:
1) Defining the food system
2) Environmental effects of the food system
3) Socioeconomic effects of the food system
4) Health effects of the food system
5) Use of frameworks and sustainability indicators
