Activity Description

The U.S. Social Security Administration has requested that the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine conduct a study to provide an overview of the current status of the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of common childhood cancers, including different types of malignant solid tumors, in the U.S. population under age 18 and the relative levels of functional limitation typically associated with the cancers, common treatments, and other considerations.
