An Institute of Medicine committee studying sports-related concussions in youth will hold a workshop to gather data and perspectives from experts and stakeholders, including health care providers, coaches, and parents. Topics will include the effectiveness of protective equipment, the role of sports rules, and physical training-related concussions in military personnel.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST Monday, Feb. 25, in Room 120 of the National Academy of Sciences building, 2101 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
