Activity Description

The IOM and the National Research Council held a public workshop to review and assess research on child abuse and neglect, identify gaps in the existing literature, and consider potential future research priorities. The workshop was designed to inform a future study that would identify ways in which the available research could inform policy and practice for child welfare and other family support services as well as recommend research priorities for the next decade.
