On January 30, 2014, the IOM/NRC Committee on Improving the Health, Safety, and Well-Being of Young Adults hosted a public workshop. The first part of the workshop  focused on state policies and programs relevant to the health, safety, and well-being of young adults. The second part of the workshop explored young adults’ use of social media and information technology and how these could be used to improve the health, safety, and well-being of this population.
