The Science of Children - Birth to Age 8: Public Session
The IOM/NRC Committee on the Science of Children Birth to 8: Deepening and Broadening the Foundation for Success held a public information-gathering session on February 28, 2014 at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC. The committee is tasked with conducting a study and preparing a consensus report on how the science of children’s health, learning and development can inform the requirements to prepare a workforce to seamlessly support children from birth through age 8.
The purpose of this public session was for the committee to hear the experience and perspectives of relevant stakeholders to inform their deliberations.

Videos of the live webcast are now available on this webpage. A detailed agenda of the public session and the meeting handouts are also available. For questions, please contact Allison Berger.
