The IOM Committee on Approaching Death: Addressing Key End of Life Issues held its third meeting on July 22 and 23, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Public sessions were held over a two-day period and featured panel sessions on ethics, spirituality, and empirical and legal issues surrounding POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment). As consistent with previous public workshops, an opportunity was made available for the public to comment on issues relating to end-of-life care.

Videos of the panel sessions and public testimonies are available here.
